Ive found this also works really well for getting people to give you personal information. For instance, say you are from a bank or something and for verification purposes, you need their birthdate and the last four of their social security number (in USA). From there you can gain more information. I used a system like this on my daughters dad to get him to give up personal info so we could track him down to get the money he owed me for my daughter
