osu! is the game I put alot of my time into.

But for all time favorite, that's a bit tough. I'll say Grand Theft Auto V because of it's ability to let you blow off steam, unlike osu! where you can get pretty easily flustered and frustrated, and have to manage nerves.

I always hate answering this question, but after debating this with friends for months, I can say that one of the Valve epics (HL2 or Portal 2) is one of my favourites, purely due to the perfect storylines and double-digit hours it takes to run the campaign casually.

Other games like League, Mirror's Edge, Tombraider, and XCOM rate extremely high for me, but the previously mentioned 2 have a special place in my Steam library.

Hmm, hard decision, but I'll throw down the few that I like the most.

Team Fortress 2
Got it in 2007, as I got into Steam via a hard copy of Counter-Strike Source, Day Of Defeat Source and Half-Life 2 Deathmatch that I got at a best buy, and it came with "The Black Box" I think it was called. Had Portal, Half Life 2, and TF2. Still play the game to this day, and have thousands of hours into it. Nothing else to say, the game is a good bit of fun and I love to play it with friends.

Splatterhouse
I'm assuming most people only know the newer one on 360/PS3, I'm gonna talk about the old one, but maybe I'm just being dumb. So yeah, played this one a good bit in the arcade, got good enough to clear it in one life, and I've ended up buying the board. I'm going after the rest of the cabinet (Which I keep offering a good bit of money for as it just sits in the back room of the arcade) so yeah, big fan of the game. Only issue is that because I have to run it through a Supergun and it only has SCART RGB out, I have to play it on this tiny 8" Sony PVM. Overall, the game is a good bit of fun - kinda gory, kinda spooky, got a little bit of challenge until you learn the tricks, and it's always good fun.

DOOM
I've played this game for a good while, absolutely love the community as there's more and more WADs being made for it, and the sequel is also pretty great. I have the 1st DOOM on every console except Atari Jaguar, and I love 'em all. The only DOOM I don't care too much about is DOOM 3, but I still do like it. Got a preorder on the new one, PS4 I think, so I'll probably play that a good bit when it comes out. So yeah, the games are fast (Well 1 and 2 are, not so much with 3...), they're a good bit of fun, and apart from 3 I don't need to worry about story or NPCs or anything - just good 'ol fun with a shotgun or whatever weapon I have.

Akumajo Dracula (Castlevania)
Probably wondering "Why the japanese title, eh?" and it's just because my favorite version is on the good 'ol Sharp X68000. The NES one is an absolute classic and I love it, but the Sharp X68000 with the FM Synth and MIDI-Capable sound is absolutely amazing, and the game looks even better than the NES one. Usually this game is the reason I bring out the Sharp, as even if I don't feel like playing it, I can take the MIDI-out on the Sharp, throw it into the amp, and just having the music play via the sound test is awesome. Gameplay is smooth, controls are tight, the game has a good challenge, and I just love it.

So yeah, sorry if that was a bit long-winded, I just felt I should give a little bit of explanation.

TL;DR - Team Fortress 2, 1988 Splatterhouse, DOOM, and Castlevania are probably my top four games, but I don't exactly have a favorite.

It's a tossup

I played this shitty MMORPG for half of highschool and before. Took up basically my entire life. I got all the way to lvl90 M (went to lvl 120 and back to 60). It was crazy, but many good memories

It's a ghost town nowadays

Other than that, Demon Souls series if single player game, League of Legends and StarCraft 2 for competitive multiplayer.

I forgot about Half Life series, they were great, but i'm not sure if they were my absolute favorite.

Gradius Gaiden, It's possibly the best Gradius game made, with its beautiful graphics, varied and interesting levels, and multiple playable ships. Too bad it never got a US release outside The Gradius Collection on PSP.
