Animal abuse is terrible, but when it comes down to it, most people including myself would kill an animal to save a life. Like I'm okay with using a reservoir as a water supply to give access to hundreds of thousands if not millions of people, even if there some endangered fish living in that reservoir that will most likely end up dead from using that reservoir as a water supply. With that said, it does not mean that I support beating animals like the gif in the OP, i'm totally against that.

Holy fuck! Thats horrible. Why would someone do that? It's like that video on how those dudes lit that cat on fire because they were fucking bored! Wtf. This really ruins my faith in humanity. That dog was asleep and those shits heads smacked it with a shovel. And the blood! HOLY FUCK! This really angers the shit out of me! FUCK! I had to watch anime for a few hours to get that out of my head. This helped me feel better though.

What really saddens me is that those people, and people like them who record devious acts like these, most likely don't even have anything against animals; they just have nothing better to do than be entertained by abuse and violence.
The silver lining here, are the reactions from the thread and the outcry against it. Even after experiencing desensitization from the internet, throwing insults and replying with sarcasm, I'm glad to see that many of us are hard-spoken and extremely against animal abuse. Like @Losimantom said, people like these may make you lose faith in humanity, but people like you guys are the key to restoring it.

I doubt these people own animals. I own a dog and she is the sweetest animal in the world. I love her with all my heart and I would never hurt her. These people obviously have never owned animals or ever cared for one. A person who respects animals would never do this. Jeez.......

That's the thing, these people don't respect animals, probably not even as living beings. While I'm completely distraught that they'd even do something like this towards animals, I'm more worried about how they are mentally, especially if they start viewing humans the same way. If I recall correctly, most violent persons start with the abuse/killing of animals.

People like that are the reason why my Rottweiler German Shepard mix had to be put down last fucking night. He snapped and went crazy. If I saw someone doing that I'd shoot them in the fucking face or hit them with a shovel.
