Too heavy to EB but you can try. It is the easiest one but might fail easier too.
There is a recurring problem with the Quest3 of the usbc port melting. Maybe you could find some pictures or photoshop and then FTID or box them on the return.

Quest 3 caught on fire, contacted Amazon immediately to let them know about the situation, they were shocked, they connected to three(!!) different reps, and finally, issued a refund. Mission complete, everyone!

Did they ask for photos or anything like that. I assume your not being serious when you say it caught on fire.

I am completely serious. I showed them a photo of a melting USB-C port. The first representative directed me to a specialist, but the specialist insisted there was nothing they could do for me. I requested to speak with their supervisor. In response, they asked me to upload a photo using a link they provided. A few minutes after I did so, they initiated the refund. Done.

how long ago was this/ how long did the refund process take to hit ?
