If you order from MS, the device gets added to the MS acc with which you purchased. Somewhere in acc settings you find this. People often use the same MS acc to log into windows.
Its not a good idea to use this device yourself with the same MS account in my opinion. And if you sell the device you want the next person to use the device not linked to the MS acc it was purchased on.

I don't have any accounts linked to my Microsoft account they just flagged my account for literally no fucking reason I'm assuming it's because of the price?

MS / PP / Bank all blaming each other
Was 5K order
Will make fresh acc and order cheapest item on site then try worthwhile order a week or so later in new year

GL

Yeah my account is completely fucked because even with revolute card I cannot get any purchases through did you try and contact Microsoft support was that a complete waste of time?

Also when you make a fresh account are you going to be using the same PayPal?

I have a few PP accs so will use diff PP to be sure
(I did read that if you add a new email addy to your PP then to the Co it is a new PP, but not sure if my PP may block any MS payment after many failed attempts now anyway)

Spoke with MS support who blamed PP, PP blamed bank..
I think is an MS flag for large order
Tho I wouldn’t call 5K a large order 😡

Co? If I change the email to my PayPal it will count as a new PayPal question mark because I'm pretty sure they have flagged the account now

My understanding is that a separate email is a diff PP acc to a Co (Company)
