All the easy to access services made refunding to much as a common skill which every dumb ass can use these days. It'll indeed get harder, yes, and the fact that refunding has become somewhat mainstream obviously will put a big burden on refunds, however I doubt refunding will be coming to an end. Human errors are bound to be made in every process of the supply chain, logistics, customer service, whatever, and the customer will still have to be compensated. See, the thing with REKK is that they didn't simply stick to social engineering. If you read the articles conserning the arrest, REKK's members have bribed Amazon employee's and even phished employees in the logistics sector to be able to mark returns as completed. That's a complete different game, the arrest was bound to happen. Obviously, that doesn't mean that simply SE'ing refunds is safe. Look at Penis' arrest a while ago, I haven't read anything about any hacking or bribing. He just got too big, garnered too much attention. All in all, refunding isn't dead, nor will it be in the near future. It has been getting harder for a while now, and it'll continue doing so, you just have to adapt and stay under the radar.
