When I'm on windows I use filezilla and when I'm forced to use Ubuntu I use the shitty client that comes with the shitty thing.

I use FileZilla when I must. Also this should be under Computing > Networking.

Depends on where I am and what I'm doing.
I make sure to install Net2FTP on all webservers I work on, but I also use FileZilla for interconnectivity.
Net2FTP isn't exactly the most reliable, but it certainly works on all systems I use.
