They've certainly become a pain to deal with.

It means “wrong item received”.
Never done it myself so I can only regurgitate what I have read from others, they essentially order (from a different account and to a different address) something of similar weight and generally in the same category, then once your item arrives, you get in touch with customer services and tell them you have the wrong item.
So if you were ordering an iPad of 1kg, buy an espresso machine of 1kg , call up customer services and tell them you have received an espresso machine instead, which is part of their stock and inventory (so don't disposes of any packaging) Obviously this is just a made up scenario.

I sucsessfully did a EB with a iPad Pro 12.9 with free earbuds from Apple but that was 14 months ago and I had to act hysterical on chat and phone but it worked.
They've certainly become a pain to deal with.
It happens to every store eventually. I blame the 1000 refunding services that sprout up faster than a Dollar General stoere.
You either have to try a new store most people don't know about or spend alot more time battling them like with Wayfair.
It's technically all free but if ever year you have to spend more and more hours for the samed amount of refunds then it amounts to a wage cut.
Time for a Refunding Unionto get our wages back up 😂

Well Im by no means as advanced at refunding as you. You probabnly don't agree with my methods or even understand some of them but they work. I doubbt you lose control of your emotions so wildly that the retailer and lying Rep are now on the top of my list.
Chaotic methods or not. I have to get angry to push past my social anxiety I had as a kid and turn into a maniac that dominates the conversation.
I win most of my refunds and if i dont I remember and they go on the list and I increase what they owe me by 10x. So if a Rep wants to be a hero and deny my $300 refund now that store owes me $3000 and until its paid off they dont come off the list. Then I chargeback the shit out of them.
Pro tip # you lose a chagback then file more until its what the original one was or more. Even if it isnt a chargeback I say it is because they said my real one wasnt. Chargebacks are the greatesdt friendly fruad ever invented.
But most importantly I can see I am getting better at refunding and finding so many little tricks and getting better and adapting. everyday.
Theres a method to my maddress and who knows that may be what it evolves into just confusing the shit out of employees that dont like thier job
I kind of wish it would get harder so most of these refunding services would go under and then it relaxed a little. Not aall of them but most of them wouldn't be able to pull off a tough SE refund without the insiders they have in UPS, USPS and elsewhere so their job is really nothing.
