Apart from that, in the case of some DNA for example, the companies refuse all dialogues claiming that their investigation is closed against you and sometimes do not respond anymore. In the context of the damaged box method, when a company acts like this, what should we do if they ignore our emails? Is a chargeback possible in this kind of case where paypal will tend to side with the seller on the basis of weight confirmation?

Yes, but what if, as they tend to do, they claim they can't give more information and hang up or end the chat?

They have no right to dismiss your request for an escalation - as a buyer, It's well within your rights to ask for It.

Repeatedly contact them via email, phone and live chat until they do their job and comply with your request.
