It's like claiming you know everything. Yes, I see that. :thumb-up: While I disagree, it would be much easier to engage in intellectual dialogue with you. Kudos. That's all anyone can ask for really. What was not proven is that he was the son of God I can't accept claims from dead priests thousands of years ago. I can't accept writings from Christian priests. I certainly won't accept anything from the bible. I want solid evidence. Quote:Evidence for the historical existence of Jesus of Nazareth (the Christ) as portrayed in the Bible is only found in three places: the Bible itself, other early Christian writings, and references by the various early churches (c. 100 CE) to the long dead leader of those churches. Nope, nope, and nope.
RE: 'Nuff Said.... - Nil - 08-26-2013 Jesus has been referenced in writings by non-biblical figures. Majority of credible historians agree that Jesus did in in fact exist. And from here people will argue whether his "powers" are legitimate. Suppose he did exist, and that there is valid evidence to suggest this is the case. Is there any evidence to suggest he's not just the average bloke? RE: 'Nuff Said.... - Guardian - 08-27-2013 I do remember reading ABOUT Roman records about Jesus the MAN. I for one do not doubt he existed. He most likely did. Just because he did exist doesn't make him a Messiah. For one he was born Jewish and he didn't even meet the Jewish criteria for being the Messiah that was 'passed down from God' so he was just another cult leader in my eyes. |
