So here are my questions:- I read the instruction of repair return for Dell laptop and here I am attaching the link to the PDF of it. In this pdf they say to wrap the pc in the bag and the bubble wrap they'll provide. So when boxing them should I still insert the bag and bubble wrap in it or just discard them?
https://i.dell.com/sites/csdocuments/Public_Documents/en/us/repair-checklist.pdf
- OFC I am using a drop and fantasy name but should I actually fill in the form and insert it in the box as well as per their instructions? Or can I discard it as well just like the bubble wrap etc?
- The local dry ice store sells both pellets and blocks. Minimum purchase 10lbs. Should I get the block or pellets? If 10lbs is for 1 entire block, I think is a good option that gives me enough time to prep the box, check weight and drop it off at the courier store, am I correct?
- In the example of instructions to follow they say: "Only include the power adapter or cord for power issues or if damaged. Place in bubble bag provided. ". I think I will opt for power issues, like the PC doesn't turn on at all. Should I add the weight of charger as well when boxing?
- To reply to your previous question on whether the shipping will be local or not. Yes it should be local as reading online it should be shipped to a nearby dell repair center(in state or to a close state). Will confirm when ready and requesting the label/box.
Thanks for your help @mothered

1. I wouldn't bother with the bag. If the item is "stolen" during transit, it will be stolen with the bag intact, which tbh helps the claim. No thief is going to leave their fingerprints on the zip lock bag lol
2. Since you are using drop and fantasy name, then I think its up to you
3. Don't need to bother with it, if they ask just say it was probably stolen too
4. I think it is generally a good idea to be a little over the weight, and if the battery does not weigh that much it is fine to add the weight.
5. Good idea to confirm
These are my thoughts, but I'll let others correct me if I am wrong.
