That is hard to put to the test isn't it?
You would need a cheap product which you can reseal via plastic film and a heat sealer. Even if the trial succeeds, they very well could differentiate between high and low value items.

Have you had experience with reversing a failed sealed box iPhone SE with a dummy? Seems hard to believe that you would enclose the dummy phone and seal it off.

Don't have a negative attitude - your SE will most likely fail before It has the chance to begin.

The objective Is to see whether they open and check sealed box returns, Irrespective of the product and Its value, so use some Initiative and select a cheap Item that's very easy to open and reseal.

It's that simple.

It's very easy to justify your return as follows.

Say that you were In a rush, and mistakenly packed the Incorrect Item In the box. As to why It was resealed to perfection, you were concerned that an open/damaged box would void the refund, hence you returned It In Its original state.

As a social engineer yourself, you need to think laterally and manipulate every obstacle and event to your advantage.
It's not hard to do so.

Hello! Have you tried any of these stores? I was thinking of trying kaufland and gomibo  for a smartwatch. I want to use sealed box method.

It depends on how well you reseal It, and whether they check sealed box returns.

I bought extra seals in case the first try fails. I have no idea if they check it, but I would rather buy from a shop outside my country because here, people who are going to buy back my resealed product are going to report it to police and I can get in trouble easily since they can track it by the serial number. Luckily, the smartwatch I'm buying is not 4G so it has no imei, hence it is harder to track it precisely.

Who's to say the buyer who purchased your return, Isn't a social engineer and Is attempting to deceive the company by claiming an Incorrect product was enclosed?

No off the top of my head.

Right, but what if that person will report what happened to the police? Since he has the serial number and the proof of purchase, if they find that I'm using the product they will most likely blame it on me.
