RE: Are you addicted to something? - TheRealInterMafia - 11-12-2022 Cannabis for certain. If there's any youngsters/young adults here who smoke pot I do have some advice to spare. Try and avoid the wake and bakes, buying bud when you have the money and smoking every chance you get. In my experience, and from what I've seen from many around me is that weed has this way of sneakily getting itself into your life and daily routine. Without too much narrative, before you know it you can't do anything like call with friends, play video games, do your hobbies without smoking first. There's this trap of realizing that you feel you do stuff better high and it just snowballs. Withdrawals aren't that bad, mostly annoying (this is a psychological dependency). Though I do know someone who has been smoking skunk for so long if they don't use after a few days they will be violently ill. Other than that, I've had issues with codeine and diazepam in the past but those are said and done, I'm abstinent to them now. tl;dr pot is awesome, just don't abuse it. It won't feel the same anymore, you'll be using it just to go about your day and all in all it's a pretty dreary existence. Smoke sparingly, appreciate the high, and learn to love life.
