Sure, so far I started a live chat and after saying that the console started making weird noises and smoking and that eventually got on fire and had to urgently take it outside, the rep asked me if I was fine and if there were any damages to other personal items/property. At the end he said he'd pass the case to the specialist team and I will be contacted via email. Anything in particular to expect next? I guess they'll ask for pictures of the burnt ps5 and PoP and I will just have to send a corrupted file, correct?

They may request the above, or ask you to retrieve the PS5 from the trash and return It.

Well for the PS5 i could say that recycling took it and cannot get it anymore, and for the PoP can simply send corrupted file, would that work? xD

You got it down pat. Just full send it and see what they say. It's the only way to know. Give it a shot and tell us how you go.

Yes, that's the exact approach.

What I'm saying Is that It's likely they'll still request the return, Irrespective of the above circumstances.

Precisely.

No doubt they'll keep asking to send It, so do so but In a different file format and assure them It's working perfectly fine on your end. This gives the Impression that you're doing your utmost best to resolve the matter.

They'll say 'need ps5 in for warranty process' or something along those lines i believe.

UPDATE: so after all this time I have been receiving emails where they say the want to reach out to me via phone(i used a burner). But the problem is that I hoped to solve it via email. This is what the rep wrote me:
