Then did they really see anything? We will never know.

Nice philosophy. Hmm. I guess we won't.

Good point. But what if there is a god? What if when someone is clinically dead but when and if they are revived, they did not see anything because it was not their time?

There have been cases of people being revived after being "dead" for hours. There actually are some people who have been pronounced dead to be revived and they say they see light etc...Probably just on the wind up or looking for attention. But if something did happen after death, with the amount of people who have been brought back from the dead (some even hours) then surely someone would have been able to tell us by now? Not the attention seekers that each have totally different stories.

The light some people see is due to a specific chemical that is released into your brain when you "die". I don't know the specifics, but you can look it up. And for the people that have been dead for hours and are revived, it doesn't matter if they are dead to us, God knows if they are truly dead or will be revived, so they will not be sent to an afterlife if he knows they will be alive again. We will never know, until we actually die, unfortunately.

Once again, the magickal powers of God trump science. Sad

Well they say right before you die that the chemicals that cause dreams are released in a substantial amount. That could mean a variety of different things for your after life. I personally still believe you go to either heaven or hell but yeah.
