It's an abbreviation of "One-Time Password", which Is sent to your email address or cell phone.

When the driver arrives, you must tell/show him the password to accept the package. If you refuse to do so, he has every right to mark It as an undelivered consignment.

perfect, never did that in my life
If you hit Amazon quite often, you'll find that an OTP will be requested with certain Items.

No worries. Yes, DNA is the most optimal method for your choice of item and considering Amazon's relaxed nature. It's more logical than EB, and a lot less tedious than Sealed Box or Wrong Item Received. Obviously, make yourself appear more like a genuine customer, which I'm sure you would have some experience with since you have done some 'returns' before. As long as your account is in good standing (you have some past orders, and a low amount of previous SE's or even legit returns) it should be relatively seamless. Exactly as you said, just state that you are still waiting for the package even though it has been marked as delivered. They may ask you to wait a few days just in case it shows up. Don't worry about going over the top and providing more details than asked for

The account should be in a perfect state, i did some returns but like once every 5-6 months, it has 7+ years and always bought tons of stuff ( all my family use it so we do tons of orders ).
Alright, didn't think it would have been that easy but thank you so much, i will try this method when the new iPhone will come up, my question inow s, will it get blacklisted? I don't rly know anything about iPhone but i read that they might get blacklisted if package is lost or something like that, that's the only thing that scares me at this point

Again, not sure why people keep hot items. The item is technically stolen, sell it as quickly as possible and go buy a clean iPhone 14 afterward.
Opening it and using it, having a GPS homing beacon right to you is foolish and irresponsible.

Maybe so, but in the grand scheme of things many of us are small fish, and it's foolish to think that we are outsmarting companies like Amazon. Simply, I believe they are fully aware of this and couldn't care less if they could prove you are using the device, because they are in danger of losing a real customer in the event something like this actually happens and they reject the customer's claim. Hope that makes sense, but yes, it is obviously a logically sound decision to sell the device

You can jailbreak the phone and then change the IMEI to use it in your country. But I don't know about the difficulty of this technique.

It's more to the fact that Amazon operates on a very large scale and due to the Influx of orders and claims on a daily basis, they simply don't have the manpower to thoroughly assess each and every claim.

The lack of employee training and keeping up-to-date with management changes, Is also part of the equation.

It's relatively easy if you do it right.

  1. Wait for the 1:1 dummy to be available on eBay or Aliexpress (ex. : https://www.ebay.com/itm/403457957822 )
  2. Open the box, replace the real phone with the fake one
  3. Laminate the box with a thermal laminator
  4. Enjoy

works with absolutely all devices, also Macs, just requires the purchase of the laminator

RE: Amazon Refund [ iPhone ] - Specialbrewmike - 08-30-2022

I have struggled with OTP and any item above the £100 mark its only today I checked and it will now let me order a Samsung fold renewed for around £700 and no OTP... 2 months ago I done a gpu... don't know if I should try... are amazon requiring police reports now?

Don't know if going for this or just DNA, i have never had an iPhone but as far as i know you need the box in case you wanna use the Apple warranty in case the phone breaks ( i might be wrong, totally no idea ), in case the box is useless i will prob going for this or dna as i said

ty so much tho c:

RE: Amazon Refund [ iPhone ] - Exodeen - 08-30-2022

with Apple, the box and invoice is useless, they only use the serial number (the device warranty starts when the device is first activated)

In terms of the DNA, check If an OTP will be required on delivery.

Alternatively, the wrong Item received Is compatible.

Quote:i read something about iPhone's getting blacklisted if something goes wrong.
Correct, specifically In the UK.

Are you aware if iPads can get blacklisted too?
