Can I ask for the one time exception to not send it back and have the refund anyway ? Maybe by making up an excuse saying that I'm leaving the country for an unknown amount of time and that I didn't take it with me as it was not working at all.You can ask for a one-time exception during the claim's assessment (using the excuse above), when It's at the stage of Apple requesting the Item be returned. And include a screenshot of the email of the police’s response to your online police report. You have to keep at it. Mix it up with a few phones to apple support complaining about the whole situation. Without the PR, your claim will not move forward. I did online only, not in person. They keep asking for a police report hard copy and i have no idea what that is. I send them the PDF and i am claiming that thats all they do "the police" and told apple they have told me there is nothing more they can do. RE: Apple one-time exception (?) - 2ndround - 06-30-2022 its notoriously hard to get prs from police for such situations. anyone submitted a photoshopped doc before to apple? The point Is, the police do not provide It, so that Information should be forwarded to Apple and they can sort It out between themselves - Apple & the police department. It's been a week since your last post. Any updates? I think i updated it in another thread related to this, regardless, got my refund out of nowhere. took alot of hassling. my main problem now is the switch ftid. been more than a month and they just keep saying their team is working on it. my idea is that they are trying to find the 'switch' when i sent an envelope. i think they are stalling on me so i forget about it. |
