RE: Sealed method help! - Mobdeep - 03-31-2022 Ive just realised mate, your SE failed because you put the new fake seal ontop of the old seal and you felt that it wasnt noticeable, but it was. I don't think he did it. His description shows that he was very accurate, so I suspect that he would not have made such a mistake. Let’s wait for the thread’s author. " I opened the package from the bottom and then resealed it from the inside with double sided tape. The packing material was on top so you could not see it. However, maybe they did see it when opening the box and it made them suspicious so they checked the return thourougly " he put new seal on top of the old one, probably when they picked it up they felt something wrong with the sticker, and thats where they unsealed it check it and confirmed that it was double taped. It got too popular and easy, so they got down to it.As of late, Amazon Is meticulous with checking open-box returns. Not so much when there's absolutely no signs of tampering nor any Inconsistencies with a sealed box. I had carton letter from Amazon like this one and I opened the lower part which is permanently closed. There was double-sided tape used. I opened and I used hot glue. When I closed it, there wasn’t any hole to see that glue. Cardboard was touching cardboard, perfectly stuck together. Thread’s author might also closed it like me, and there wasn’t any sign.(03-31-2022, 01:45 PM)eljot88 Wrote:(03-31-2022, 12:46 PM)Mobdeep Wrote: Ive just realised mate, your SE failed because you put the new fake seal ontop of the old seal and you felt that it wasnt noticeable, but it was. I am very curious which methods these all refunding guys using. They earn money on that, they don’t need old accounts with good purchase history, the limits so high sometimes. I don’t get it. Could be, but as I said it was not noticeable. The seals are not that thick either and they lined up. (03-31-2022, 01:45 PM)eljot88 Wrote: I don't think he did it. Well, I don't think that it was a mistake as I tried to remove the old seal but it was obviously super hard and would have damaged the box quite a bit. That's why I went the route just placing the new seal thoroughly on top of the old one. The packaging it came in is what I closed back up with double sided tape. The seal I had bought. (03-31-2022, 03:12 PM)mothered Wrote: As of late, Amazon Is meticulous with checking open-box returns. While I'm sure you're right, it could also have something to do with the account standing (which should be pretty good in my case). And as I said there were no inconsistencies with the resealing part. (03-31-2022, 04:49 PM)eljot88 Wrote: Are we talking about packing box right? Yes, you're right. I was referring to this kind of box and also closed it back up just like you did. I just talked to an agent on the live chat just to ask if I could use the same qr code for the return label again. He didn't quite understand and asked me if I sent back the phone. I gave him some vague answers (I said I did send the box, which I did obviously). He then contacted the warehouse and they said they'll investigate. He told them that I did in fact sent back the phone and asked them for a refund. He also asked them to send back the wrong item I had sent, which makes no sense because then I obviously did not sent back the phone. Apparently another investigation will take place (3 business days) and the agent will make an "exception" and keep the case. I didn't even plan to SE them. What should I do now @mothered? Wait for the investigation to finish? Gotta love amazon reps. I'd say contact them in 3 days to see where the investigation is at and update us.
