Although It predominantly relates to mid/high value Items, I've experienced an OTP for a 150$ product. Put simply, there are no hard and fast rules for OTP requirements.

do you know where i can get the MacBook's film seals on the new MacBook models , and

if i hit ftid
but instead send envelope back cause it will mention about weight and parcel dimensions if i us the same box and weight the parcel came with and did ftid would that have more success rate ?

I've found these for you. There's more expensive variants but I doubt the quality differs much.

thanks buddy , have you ever tried refunding though resealed , as it seems to be ne that makes most sense as if weighs same and loos untouched why would amazon open a sealed macbook that then cant be sold

I'm yet to do my first refund but I'm also looking into the reseal methods. I assume that Amazon warehouse workers don't have enough time to open, turn on, check, turn off and reseal every returned item specifically. I also doubt they're paid enough to care enough to do so. Barring any visible inconsistencies with the weight and packaging I assume you're 95% safe. I assume the legitimacy of your account likely also plays a role as to how much they care to look into it.

You'll know in advance if an OTP is required, as it's stated in the checkout page right before you pay
If there's a yellow banner that says OTP or signature required on delivery, there you have it
If it's not there, they won't ask for one
