Yes, I detected her gullibility during the course of the conversation, but It would've been nice to understand all the events that took place.

Not to worry, the gist of It Is understood.

but which as your most steady picks; your biggest favorite OS:es? Biggrin
In terms of my favorite OS, It's Windows 10.

I've been using the Windows platform since the good ol' 16-bit Windows 3.1 back In the early 90s, so I've experienced a lot of changes since then. You're correct about my VM usage - I run various flavors of Linux, as well as different versions and editions of Windows.

How about yourself? What's your absolute favorite OS?

what programs do you run on MSW? do you do sqli dumper and open bullet?
my favorite os is Blackarch. its made for hacking, and Im using it natively most of the time.
my favorite tool is thc-hydra, and besides that, I use some SQLi tools called leviathan and white widow.
those tools dont tend to work atleast on my MSW PC. the best thing with thc-hydra is you can use it on specific,
and not just random targets. Im learning it, and using it on blackarch.

I have 7 laptops In total, two of which are test systems - all dedicated to the tasks they're configured to perform.

In terms of the test lappies, I mostly crack software and run all types of checkers and cracking tools.

I've heard a lot of positive feedback about BlackArch, but haven't gotten around to use It. I plan on doing so In the very near future.

I haven't come across Whitewidow.

I'm viewing It now on GitHub, and It looks very promising.

As the primary OS, same here - I've been using It since the good old 16-bit Windows 3.1 back In the early 90s.

Will you be upgrading to Windows 11?
I was not even aware that windows 11 was coming out haha, but yes why not?

It will be officially released In precisely 3 weeks time - October 5.

I've been running the leaked build for a few months on my VM, and It's well worth Installing as the primary OS.

Is ther performance better than windows 10?

From what I've experienced, It seems more stable and responsive, and that's based on the leaked build.

I'd assume the final release would perform better.

I'm not sure I like how dumbed-down Windows 11 is planned to be. Microsoft needs to implement an 'Advanced' & 'Standard' profile so that we won't have to deal with popup tips and limited options in menus.

I agree that options should be available to cater for Individual needs/preferences.

We'll see what the official release has to offer In a little over 2 weeks.

For my personal computer, I use Windows 10. At work, I sometimes use Linux or Mac, but I prefer Windows since I've always used it, and I can consider myself an expert.
I took one year course at the school of Open Source Operating Sistem and used about 20 different Linux, but for what I use on my PC, I need Windows 10 since it has more "support" and tools.

At the time of this post, Windows 11 will be released tomorrow (October 5).

Will you be upgrading? I will on one system and If It meets my expectations, I'll Install It on every PC.
