@mothered If the label was provided by the company, the contract is between the courier and the company. As long as you show that you have done everything right on your end by proving you shipped everything out its on the couriers and companies whatever happens after. The "sender" would not even be able to file for the insurance claim.

Yes, I understand that and I agree with what you've said, with the exception of the comment below.

Given you've boxed the company and signs of tampering has been noticed at the collection point, "you haven't done anything right on your end, nor proved to ship everything out", hence the liability Is not on the company & carrier, but rather your Incapacity to Include the goods as Instructed.

What you've stated Is relative to goods missing/damaged In transit, and not prior to the package been scanned and accepted In full by the carrier at the collection point. If they raise a damage report, I can assure you that It will release them from being held responsible.

To be honest, it dose not even matter what its in the package. It can be bricks or potatoes even since empty box might not be accepted. I have had few empty boxes just stopped whilst in transit to prevent intercepting. As long as you take pictures prior to shipping out with the correct goods inside you will win almost any claim.

Unfortunately, It doesn't work that way.

For Instance, If you're SEing a 10k diamond ring, they will go through the return with a fine-tooth comb. There's not a single entity who will mark a claim worth 10,000$ as a company write-off.

As already stated, I'm not referring to goods In transit nor shipping the correct Item, but rather boxing the company (obviously without the goods) and the carrier noticing the Inconsistency at the collection point.

Here's the post that It relates to:

Let me know If you don't understand It, and I'll simplify It even further.

@mothered Okay whatever, so his tracking stated returned, why did paypal deny his claim ?

The claim was for almost £3000 and he did a claim previously on the same account. That's why.

RE: Paypal Flannels UK refund . - thebestser - 06-27-2021

@Roadman Yes, but as long as you space claims out you should be fine, very weird that they just denied his claim after he uploaded tracking. I wonder what the status of his chargeback is.

^ Precisely.

@thebestser, this Is a prime example of what I'm referring to In my previous post pertaining to high value Items In the thousands of dollars. Regardless of who the company Is, the claim will be assessed In greater detail, as opposed to an Item valued at only a few hundred dollars or so. As such, the probability of failure Is significantly Increased.

Pretty simple- they wanted to be absolutely certain that the Item was "physically" returned.
