Which means that you give the appearance as though the package was tampered with, and the Item stolen In transit.

It's not possible to generalize for each and every company. The first port of call, Is to research their terms to establish who's responsible for loss of goods during shipment.

That aside, there seems to be a conflict of Information, so I'm trying to clarify the exact method you're Intending to use.
