I've contacted through email, the rep has asked for "proof of ownership" - video .mp4 reflecting serial number on the device along with the ticket number on a piece of paper)
What do you recommend should be done to avoid this part... Shall I just provide POP and other details and ignore the video bit?

Years ago they never used to even ask for photo's or video's ffs lol

with my past experience they will usually keep asking you for a not corrupted video, which doesnt matter if you send them multipule time of the corrupted video which they will only keep asking. So i will say you have two options, the first one will be call them and try to convence them to give you a replacement without the video, or you will have to purhcase the video somewhere. That is the only two ways that i know, the courrupted video method is dead due to way too many people is raping logitech. But as always , you might get lucky, let us know how the se goes

They certainly will keep requesting the video, that's a given. But that's what SEing Is all about- to manipulate the situation to your advantage.

Upload any video you like (for example) to YouTube, and change a single character In the URL. The video will still show that It's hosted, but not viewable. This demonstrates that It Is In fact uploaded, but gives the Impression that "It's not working on their end". Keep doing this and assure them that It's fine on your device and express your frustration In a firm but polite manner, as to why they cannot process such a simple task.

The objective Is to make them feel as though they're at fault.

I done this before, however the out come is that we send email back and forward everyday and after three weeks later i gave up and went to get a tagged vedio lol. Maybe some rep will let you go ezly but certainly not mine. Yea i do agree this will work with different company but not with logitech and in my case.
