I might be a bit rusty here. What is FTID exactly?

Fake Tracking ID. It's a recently-popularized addition to boxing. You can find info about it on various forums. You can also buy the method from refund.sh, though I personally don't think it's worth the money.
There are lots of things you can do to make the boxing better - FTID/ double tape/ weight with sand/ etc.
I don't have personal experience, but I've seen people have success with it.

If you allow enough time for the dry Ice to sublimate, thereby the company will receive an empty package (but correct weight during transit), It's a very effective method Indeed.
