Yes. Unfortunately, more companies have been better equipped. They are now more likely to ask you to send it back. Some companies will send the item as soon as the rma confirmation has been received. Those companies are the ones to box

The package must however, be consistent with tapering during transit- just enough to demonstrate the Item was taken, but not an overkill to Indicate It was purposely done by the sender. Some carriers do tend to check on consignment so the less that's visible, the better.

Yes that is true. I've noticed that if I were to drop a package -for boxing a company- on a friday night, I am more likely to be able to send it. If you were to send the package on a monday, you'd be more likely to get rejected by the shipping service.
Most likely due to workers being more careless at the end of their grueling week

On a similar principle pertaining to Fridays, It's good practice to SE "over the phone" on that day as opposed to Mondays- particularly towards the close of business. Representatives are exhausted from the working week and counting the minutes (so to speak) until the day ends. They're not as alert and concentration levels have decreased. On these grounds, the likely hood of a successful SE Is more so than not.
