RE: TOR. - Esoterith - 02-01-2019 People falling for Honeypots or if I remember correctly government controlled exit nodes packet sizes being compared to isp info. They can see theres traffic but not to what I believe. Honestly correct me if I'm wrong. If you want anonymity on TOR there are OSes dedicated to it. Use a VM, VPN, Bridge, etc. If you're that paranoid. If your ISP Is Intercepting/rerouting your traffic via transparent DNS proxy, thereby forcing the use of their DNS servers as opposed to the VPNs or others, then all DNS changes made on your end are futile. It's similar to how a MITM attack works (Interception of traffic), but obviously different In nature. I don't believe you do. Provide a breakdown of how an ISP Implements transparent DNS proxy, how to detect It (client-side), measures taken to circumvent It (DHCP server settings, static DNS etc) and I'll review It thereafter. You do have more experience and knowledge in this. I am here to learn. I'm not suggesting you were, but rather your competency of how transparent DNS proxy works. Moving back on-topic. |
