Of course you can but Intelcom will bring the package with them and leave a notice that you weren't home. Then when you go pick it up at there location, good luck getting away with that lol.

In the past Intelcom has always dropped it off at my house but these were items that were cheap like $<60. Did they always require you to sign no matter the price? So just in case I should order with another item and claim empty box (only 1/2 items received) and give them a fake police report? If they don't require a siggy I'll just use DNA

Try to message amazon and say you don't want intelcom to deliver for you. Try to get Canada post, they always ring the doorbell and leave.

Order 2 items and have them ship in one box. If they ask for a sig, make sure it's real since we aint going with DNA method. Contact Amazon and tell them you only got 1 item instead of 2. They'll open an investigation most of the time with the courier. You shouldn't have to make a police report since you did receive the item but you only got 1/2 of the items. And honestly, I would just make a real police report (I'm sure you can do this online aswell, atleast in my city I can). They rarely follow up if you make the price low (Since it shows the price, edit it and send the correct price to Amazon) and if they do follow up all they gonna ask is the reference number, they don't talk about the price.

How do I request amazon to ship it through Canada Post instead of Intelcom?
I also heard on this website that Amazon doesn't request signatures in Canada unless the total price is under $1300.

Yes this is correct the overall limit could be 2000$ as long as the item itself is under 1300$ at the base price 1299.99> no sig Smile

No, before they didn't. The max I did with intelcom before was like $200 and they just ring the bell and left. Just 2 weeks ago, I ordered some usb which was $20 and they made me sig it lmao. Order 2 items make sure they both come in 1 box, say you only got 1 of the items, they will start a investigation with intelcom and then most likely the courier will come to your door, MAKE SURE you open the door and just act normal and say yeah, you only got 1 item instead of 2, don't say much. If they said make a police report, make a LEGIT police report but on the police report for example it will say what was the price, write down 78.8 instead of $788, you know something like that. Now when you send it to Amazon, edit it and make it the actual price. If intelcom just leave's the package at your front door go with DNA always but they will still make you do a police report regardless because of the price.

Call up amazon and tell them. Nah, not in my experience, depending on the size of the item. If it's Canada post, and lets say it's a small item that can fit into the PO box, then no of course you don't have to sig it. I ordered Nintendo switch and Canada post shipped it and they couldn't put it in my PO box so they rang my doorbell and yes I did have to sig it. I guess it all depends for each person.

Thanks for the help man! Going to be putting in my order now. Hopefully all goes well! I'll be updating this post to let you guys know how it goes.

RE: Amazon Refund Questions - 800329001 - 08-08-2018

Oh and one more question. For the add-on item should I consider its weight? I was planning on adding zip-ties but they are pretty light weight. Would it demerit my 'partial empty box' claim because of its weight? Or am I just worrying too much?

RE: Amazon Refund Questions - DragonicRek - 08-08-2018

Just be aware that as @toonblue has stated, you could be charged with a felony. You must be aware of all consequences before you proceed.
Sure you can send in the report and hope that the Police won't actually come. Just be smart with what you're doing.
With that said, good luck.

Is it possible to just actually do a refund if things aren't going well? Such as, if they start asking for police report could you just refund it and try again since you learnt from your mistakes?

You can try that but say something like
"My wife/husband/spouse took it without telling me. I am sorry for causing this inconvenience."
