Mostly boar and deer. I did hunt exotics (Aoudad/Axis) recently.

I had a very similar experience when I was a kid, but hit a tree.
My goodness, apart from a broken arm and fractured ribs, I was fine.
Thank god I didn't break anything. Just bruises. But to be fair, the bike's tire did take most of the damage and my hard ass jaw.

In my last car, I was pulling out of my driveway and the accelerator pedal wouldn't move inwards. After tapping it a few times and it still didn't move, I kicked that sucker in. Needless to say it stuck there and I went flying forward a few hundred meters, trying everything from the brakes, e-brake and smacking the accelerator with nothing stopping me. I finally was smart enough to turn the key to shut the car off before I made it off my street. Everything probably happened in just a couple seconds, but it felt like at least 10-15 seconds of panic. I lived in a court as well so all of the neighbors (and kids) were out and assumed I was just doing hoodlum-shit, until I jumped out pale-white in the face, heart beating out of my chest.
The only time I was ever thankful for a slow car. I'd be fucked in my current one lol.

First time I ever went on a solo survival trek, fell into a river, and spent the next 3 nights with a fire bindle on my back, moving my warmth every few hours until I found a game trail and followed it and the sun back to where normal people are supposed to be camping.
The first time was the hardest and the biggest teacher. But Jesus, do not go on a survival trek without telling anyone or having practiced your techniques. I may have been just this side of hypothermic for 3 days but during a rest I still caught a rabbit in a quick snare, and had a fire starter and mylar blanket on me.
Fuck flood waters eating embankments I think are stable 5 years ago. Also cell phones with good roaming capacity can save lives. I was still 20 miles through mountainous terrain away from any sort of building when I cracked an old flip phone out and got an R signal...
Shit. I was an idiot, thinking back on it. But you do have to go out the first time to ever go out and now I go "camping" and enjoy myself. The people who come with me, not so much...

I experienced this In my early teens, but not running from the police.
It was a gang of about 15 or so, who chased a couple of us (holding weapons) through the car park of a local mall. I was on a push bike peddling for my life and one guy was Insanely quick (on foot), who almost caught me. To this day, I still remember It clearly and often wonder of the ramifications If he got hold of me.

When I was 16, I delivered papers from a newsagent for pocket money.
He told me to use the bike and the bike never had brakes on it and a car pulled out from his home and using my foot and that I literally just saved myself from smacking right in to his car.
I was raging aswell but pulled him up for it.
