Around 6 months ago, I actually Installed Opera Mini on my Android cell phone and It wasn't exactly smooth sailing.

Navigation was slow and unresponsive at times. I'm not sure of FF, though. It may well serve It's purpose similar to Google Chrome.

What about Firefox since, what chrome is, Firefox would be more of a recommendation. I haven't heard 1 bad thing about it besides chrome being fast but, what chrome delivers with personal information & tracking that it does in the background.

Every major browser tracks your online activity.

For added privacy with Android, use Ghostery Privacy Browser. On the Windows platform, Epic Privacy Browser- which also has a built-In proxy.

I've used GPB and, it sometimes crashes on me when browsing the web. Although, I haven't tried the other one that you suggested.

In terms of Windows, try Epic Privacy Browser.

Along with running a VPN and MetaGer private search engine, you can't go wrong. MetaGer also has a built-In proxy, that allows you to open each link anonymously. Of course, using bridges and the Tor browser must also be part of the equation when performing critical online activity.
