RE: what is your fear? - wanger - 07-20-2018 This is pretty basic, but I have a fear of dying. Doesn't take over my life completely or makes me not go outside and do fun activities, but it sits in the back of my mind constantly. I'm also going to agree with the people not accepting me for who I am fear. Well said In every aspect. The following Indicates you may have Insecurities: Quote:I feel that I'm not good enough for others or that I'm going to screw something up If It Is the case, nothing wrong with being Insecure. We all have It. Personally, when I do my utmost best to fulfill the needs of others and they see otherwise, that's their Issue not mine. It's something they need to deal with- within themselves. I also realize that the reason I might be feeling "not good enough" is because I compare my failures with others' successes. I should really just trust myself more and to just give it my best because if I can't do anything if I've given everything. I understand that I don't dictate how others should treat me they way I feel like they should and that if they don't accept who I am then there's nothing I can do about it. I don't know why but I just feel like I've got something to lose but I don't have anything to lose? Or maybe I'm thinking way too far ahead and thinking about what I could lose if I engage with people? I don't know. Also, talking about these personal feelings of mine is something that I don't really like to do because I feel like I'm just being an inconvenience or that no one really cares. Oh well, it's whatever. I'll just keep doing my own thing in my own little bubble.

We're all accountable for our own experiences and responsible for our actions. When you start comparing yourself to others, they take priority hence rather than focusing on your self-worth, your emotions shift toward their attributes & success and that's when this becomes part of the equation: Quote:the reason I might be feeling "not good enough" is because I compare my failures with others' successes If you know what you're worth, that's all that matters. If anything, ending up in a position where I'm really good at something and making friends that way would probably be something I can imagine myself doing. Although the fear of not making it there, as I previously mentioned, is lurking over my shoulder. Anyway, thanks for being the cool guy that you are and listening. Gonna fade back into the shadows now.
RE: what is your fear? - skrtja - 07-20-2018 My biggest fear is failure. I always feel like I'm competing. Even when I fail it's more of disappointment. So another fear would probably be me getting into a freak accident in a car or bike. I've already gotten into an accident on a bike so it's definitely something I still fear and almost got into two car crashes because of neglect of other drivers. Ask yourself this, "How did I get here?" Is it because you worked hard for it? If you worked this far, you can work twice as hard to be 2x over the line of being an success. All you gotta do is get your arse over that line and you're done. RE: what is your fear? - mothered - 07-22-2018 (07-20-2018, 04:32 PM)skrtja Wrote: My biggest fear is failure. Disregard those around you and dedicate your energy toward your goals. RE: what is your fear? - ID3F4CTED - 07-22-2018 I am afraid of heights and deep water. |
