RE: How to SE Logitech (Detailed). - mothered - 07-13-2018

Well documented and elaborated guide. Well done on that.

I have a slight concern with the following:

Quote:The mouse was working perfectly up to an hour ago. Now, when I left click, the mouse registers as a double click. This is particularly annoying when trying to drag files.

Quote:Make a creative reason on why you can't send it back

"I'm part of a semi-professional gaming team and really need to use this (product) all the time. Thus, I can't send it back.

Given the mouse Is In a semi-functional state, not sending It back would raise suspicion. I'm not a gamer, so unless the left click Is not widely used, then that's an exception.

Yes that is a fair point. The reason on why you can't send it back should be original and well though out before you se

Oh rip. Can I ask which item you got for the SN? Also, it's not that bad to start with an item over 100. I know a friend who started with the g903 (100$ mouse) and was able to se it first try. Just takes small knowledge and a bit of luck. All the knowledge needed is in my guide. Also, feel free to pm me if you have any questions

The name of the headset is "G633 Artemis Spectrum RGB 7.1 Surround Gaming Headset"

You can still se that
Let me know if you need help

If they ask for proof of purchase what do you do? I tried SEing a g910 and failed because she cross referenced.

Don't get me wrong, It may well work.

With my capacity In all facets of computing, SEing Inclusive, It's paramount I exhaust all avenues, question the obvious and work around assumptions when performing a given task. What I've mentioned above, Is based on personal observation and nothing more.

Thanks again for your In depth guide.

Say that it was a gift from a family member, or you got it from Craigslist. The family member gift method is much safer, because it would be near impossible to get proof of purchase

How often do they have you box the "faulty" product? Like which scenario is more common?

Not very often, because often, it's not worth paying the shipping for a <100$ product.
If you keep bugging them, they will eventually send the product

RE: How to SE Logitech (Detailed). - Jared - 08-07-2018

on the phone now, convinced the rep i'm a pro gamer from a company that i actually work for (there is actually a call of duty championship next week) and he thinks its super cool. I think I might have fucked up and used a serial number thats from a mouse that was purchased outside the US. We'll see, thanks for this awesome tutorial, man!

Edit: Jesus christ i fucking suck at this. So he was going on about how he used to game and stuff and he seemed like a really cool guy. Told me i was going to receive a shipping label, and I told him about the urgency and the most the man could do for me was to make the shipping all 1-day shipping for the packages. Now i have a shipping label in my email. gonna try again with a new serial number, phone, and name tomorrow......
