The GTX 1060 that you've selected, Is a pretty respectable card. I have two systems with that and the GTX 1070 In the rest (all laptops). Here's the benchmark on the latter.

Jesus, how many systems do you have lmao?

I have six In total- namely Predators.

Each Is dedicated to the tasks they're configured to perform.

Fucking hell, must have cost a fortune.

Close to 13k, but well worth the money spent.

I no longer deal with bottlenecks, read/write, latency (network, disk, channel) Issues etc.

This Is the exact model and specs I have (x2):

https://www.centrecom.com.au/acer-predator-g9-793-75ds-173-full-hd-ips-intel-core-i7-gaming-laptop

It chews anything I throw at It and surprisingly, remains quite cool under Intensive tasks.

If you shop around, It can be picked up for a few hundred dollars less.

It does come down to need vs want. The former (need) Is the case with myself.

Yeah, I don't NEED anything like that, I want one but it is really not worth the money for me.

Ever since my network upgrade, of which SSDs are part of the equation, I've never looked back.

Boot times, data-Intensive tasks/operations are simply a breeze.
