Just out of curiosity what was something new you learnt? I'm pretty new and I don't think I learnt anything from this.
I know that wasn't directed towards me, but the only thing that I wasn't familiar with was the wet box. I've heard of it, but it was explained pretty well. I'd never use it though. I've worked in warehouses before, we don't send soaked boxes. If you don't have some sort of covered front porch I could see it working, but even then I wouldn't risk it with anything of value. It seems illogical that electronics (I assume this is what most people use this for) all wrapped up in multiple layers of plastic, inside of a box, inside of another box taped to hell, is going to to actually suffer any damage from being "rained on" for a few hours or even a full day.
I wish they would put more detail into the investigations and what happens if LE gets involved. Avoiding worst-case scenarios and knowing what to expect if things go wrong should be the priority of anyone trying to SE. Not tutorials on very basic and overused methods, using the same companies that everyone else does. That's just my .02, I don't even SE so take it how you wish.
