I'll consider doing this.

RE: PM restrictions - Vi-Sion - 01-03-2018

In my Opinion this idea won't help,it'll be worst instead of having few useless pms in your inbox you'll have them post randomly shitty stuff around the forum the get to the restriction number.

RE: PM restrictions - Pikami - 01-03-2018

We need this.
There are people that come here to advertise other forums.

Jeez. O.o I'm sorry that you get bothered so much. Though, I assume that's a compliment to you coming across and knowledgeable and approachable, which are compliments in themselves.

If there were another 10 members with the same issue, I'd be inclined to change my opinion. Though, there might be a better way around this.

I even got one today

I honestly have no idea why I'm getting them, I assume others are too.

I feel like this is specific to amazon SE/theft? For most accounts?

That's an outright ban. Forget post count requirements.

RE: PM restrictions - Bish0pQ - 01-09-2018

I do agree on this, there are times I get a lot of question related to SE or just questions that ask for cracked software. This would be a good thing.

In such cases, please use the board's Report feature.

It can be an arduous task for staff to sift through Individual posts.

I think he means people come here just to PM members advertising other forums..

Edit: But there still is a report button. And even with that, that wont help stop people from taking the time to send users a PM, if we were to implement this plugin, I feel people wouldn't want to take the time to make a certain amount of posts just to PM advertisement to members.
