I must say, Avast has significantly Improved over the years In It's overall detection rate pertaining to malicious content.

The main Issue I continue to experience with Avast, Is It's false positive detection. It's Incapacity to differentiate a signature that's Incorrectly flagged (as a virus) from the real deal, can be concerning to the average computational user.

I would overall say, Kaspersky is a very heavy anti-virus mainly used if you're 100% going to get malware/viruses now and then, when i mean very have it has 16 Anti-virus modules and alot alot of options to protect you including vpns etc,

Avast is a money taker if you want to use the VPN you have to pay over 69,99 while kaspersky internet security offers alot of protection.

Overall kaspersky is a heavy tank!

If you're using the free version of Avast, It often prompts to upgrade to It's paid Security Suite.

It does become somewhat annoying.

True! I have the paid version though, ends this year so I'm thinking to switch to Kaspersky when it ends Smile

Thanks for all the responses tho! Biggrin

Wise move.

You will not be disappointed with Kaspersky's overall protection.

That's what I've heard, only tried the free trial and I was quite satisfied.

What Antivirus do you use?

I have a few systems- with Avast Installed on a couple and Norton on another.

For obvious reasons, I don't run an AV on my test systems.

Avast premier is the best becoz it is very user friendly and not banned in USA!
