You'd think they'd consult with those In cyber security or ex-hackers to try and make It as realistic as possible.

Actually, I did see a realistic one at one point. I can't find the clip, but in Operation Takedown, they showed Mitnick writing an actual C hook program to use on the mainframe

I've seen bits and pieces of Operation Takedown and found It quite Interesting.
I enjoy viewing anything with Kevin Mitnick. He certainly knows his stuff.

Realistic hacking isn't family friendly... it's 3 parts controlled substance, 2 parts uncontrollable cursing, and 1 part weird tech nobody understands
