Correct me If I'm wrong, but judging by the trailer, It seems as though the fraudulent activities were achieved via hacking gateways.

You're right, yes. They were more in gateway hacking. Was all an interesting thing in the movie.

I am going to be honest. The movie was not very good. It depicts some use of fradulent activity and the consequenses, but it's pretty boring and the characters are very plain.

Finished watching the movie. It was alright, I guess. But for a movie called "Hacker" there was little to no hacking involved....just fraud schemes.

Judging by all responses, It seems pretty ordinary.
I think IMDb's rating of 6.2 Is generous.
