I do agree that limitations are ideal, but maybe none too specific yet? I say this simply because of the activity level of the forums.

Certain requirements are needed for sure, since I'd like to use the reputation system as a benchmark of trust and quality of a member.
@Oni pointed out correctly, that the system is only as good as the members are, but that's something you just have to accept, otherwise things wouldn't work out well.
As I mentioned in @Ender 's thread about discord chat before, you would have to monitor all the new posts to ensure they are not spam and to keep the quality of content as high as possible.
That would come with HUGE added workload for our staff though, which isn't exactly low already I guess...
