edit: typo

I've heard this a lot, but have yet to see any evidence ?

So this is the point when I have to take into consideration a few things:
1. Is this person a child (typically grossly ignorant)?
2. Is this person a willfully ignorant adult (otherwise known as 'in denial')?
3. Is this person trolling?

I say this because your response sounds like something that would come off of Trump's twitter account. The fact of Russia meddling in our election to help get Trump elected is not up for debate. The FBI, CIA, and NSA all came to the same conclusion. So are we to just ignore our intelligence agencies? You know, the people responsible for figuring this shit out in the first place? Or should we listen to the propaganda that comes straight out of Trump's mouth?

Not to mention every other horrifying story that has come out regarding Trump's administration, like:
1. Attorney General Sally Yates reports to white house that National Security Advisor Michael Flynn has been compromised by the Russians. Trump does nothing for 18 days until story is leaked to the press.
2. Trump fires FBI Director James Comey. It is later revealed that Trump had asked Comey to drop the investigation into Michael Flynn.
4. Trump threatens Comey with supposed 'tapes' of their conversation. Remind you of anything? Threatening the man who was in charge of investigating you NEVER makes you look good.
5. The MANY people in Trump's administration who denied having contact with Russians, only to admit that they did after the press found out. (E.g. Jeff Sessions, who recused himself from the investigation because of it)

And of course the list goes on, but unfortunately I don't want to invest too much time into someone who might be a troll. There is a reason we don't get to see a lot of the 'evidence' yet as well... most of that information is classified as the now CRIMINAL investigation is still ongoing.
But with that said, even with the information that's now public via leaks, it takes one ignorant person to think that there is absolutely no collusion between Trump's administration and Russia.

But if you're being serious, I don't expect that I will be able to persuade you. Perhaps you should tune in Thursday and listen to what James Comey has to tell the Senate. I have a feeling you wont like what he has to say about your hero Donald Trump.

First off, props on the short essay and I'm certainly not the third one and hopefully not the first two Stressed

@DigitalJinx sent the report of the FBI, CIA, and NSA agreeing and after reading it, it seems that I was mistaken, sorta... I completely agree since it's undeniable that Putin obviously favored Trump over Hillary, as well as the fact that Russians "hacked" some influential democrats. There have been plenty of cases of "propaganda" and obvious favoritism towards Trump from Russia, including Putin basically endorsing him; however, I wouldn't describe it as Russia put him in power. They obviously influenced the result of the election to some extent, but there is almost nothing suggesting they "hacked" or rigged the election, as many people say they did.

Whenever someone says Russia meddled with the election I always default to thinking they mean Russia directly rigging the election, but I'm wrong to do so and technically they aren't wrong   Biggrin

And no Trump is not my hero or even close. There are plenty of people I would much rather before him (both right and left wing)

I don't want my president to be the puppet of a foreign state. I think you would agree with that sentiment. Day by day, we learn more and more about the close relationship between Russia and the current administration. Let's not forget that the day after Trump fired Comey, Trump met with Lavrov and Kislyak, and divulged highly classified information belonging to one of our key allies in the Middle East.

It's one thing to disagree on policy. I would even welcome Ted Cruz with open arms, so long as he is not beholden to a foreign state. With the countless number of scandals and leaks regarding this issue, I find it nearly impossible to rationalize that there was/is no collusion between the Trump administration and the Kremlin. If Michael Flynn was so easily compromised by the Russians, then why do we not automatically assume that the Russians also targeted our president, and everyone else in his administration?

This is an issue of National Security to me. The Intelligence agencies know too, which is why they are leaking like a broken faucet. It is only a matter of time before congress catches up and he is removed from office.

Unlikely, republicans in the senate including Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell  are following him to the grave.  The few who do come out against him are doing token gestures like John McCain who say one thing, but when he has to act, he's in line like everyone else

We are only less than a year into the administration, and the FBI criminal investigation is ongoing with Rob Mueller as the special prosecutor. Should he not indicate any criminality by the President, I agree with you. But given what we know, and Mueller's relationship with Comey, I think Trump's future as president is looking dim.

Let the republicans follow them if they want. They will feel it in 2018.

As much as I don't like Trump, I am willing to bet he wont be impeached

@cc.py is right, with a majority senate all with republicans it's not going to happen you need at least 2/3's vote best case is 2018 mid term election which has always been bad for democrats... it's every likely that Trump will stay his whole first term, even if it's proven that he's guilty. The senate has to charge him and every republican knows that career suicide.

With the way the Republicans have been acting lately Democrats are going to sweep 2020.
