Yeah I cashed out and reinvested $5 which I played up to $99 and lost slowly. I told myself if I hit $100 I'd cash out. Never happened.
How bustabit works for those curious: You place a bet, your bet can be from 1-1000000 bits, once all bets are placed a multiplier will count up from 1.0 in increments of .01 with a ramp up speed, eventually the multiplier will 'bust' and if you haven't clicked 'cash out' by then you lose your bet, but if you have cashed out you get whatever you bet * the multiplier you cashed out at.
Be wary, don't gamble anything but your profits.

What prevents people from just taking a 0.1 increment guaranteed win every time then.

Yes, this is 100% true. Gambling is a hobby or an entertainment source it should not be abused. The website boasts a 0-1% scaling house advantage but if you think about the one million or more bets placed daily that is at least a thousand dollars profit a day. Do not gamble if you are not willing to lose everything you invest.
