RE: Stuck - mothered - 01-19-2017 It happens to me somewhat often. A syntax error that leads to frustration and after sifting through the code, I wonder how I made such a silly mistake. RE: Stuck - Vi-Sion - 01-19-2017 thanks guys you made me feel better, i though that only happens to me
RE: Stuck - Skryptec - 01-19-2017 Yeah, I was changing the scrollbar for a MyBB forum. It didn't work for me, even with CTRL + F5. I've been trying a lot of random stuff for almost 2 hours, then it just turned out I was using Tor browser. In the case of certain languages (i.e. PHP) you might not use a compiler. You can, however, sift through error logs for those. Spoiler:I banned you for being rude, for no reason. Feel free to appeal it when you want to be friendly. RE: Stuck - mothered - 01-26-2017 (01-25-2017, 08:43 PM)Oni Wrote: In the case of certain languages (i.e. PHP) you might not use a compiler. The same with SQL when I'm querying, updating, modifying, editing, deleting etc data from the database(s)- no compiler Is In effect. RE: Stuck - DarkMuse - 01-26-2017 Yup, this is a widely known thing called "Programmer's Block" Here's a link to an article that talks about some methods to overcome it: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-ways-beat-programmers-block-right-now/ |
