I would be so interested in learning Japanese and German. I would personally go through uni or, see a teacher and get private lessons.

I'm bilingual (French and English, with the latter being my native language) and I learned French from the 1st grade by being put into meilleur crédit French Immersion, which is literally being tossed into a classroom that is French only with punishments for speaking English for anymore than to find out a word I didn't know. I'd say I'm very fluent in both English and French (I'd say I became fluent in about 6-7 years) so I wholeheartedly believe in immersion being the best way to go. I'd say go with Pharged's advice.

If you don't want to do immersion, Duolingo or Rosetta Stone could be an alternative. I'd go for downloading a bunch of movies with subtitles and just trying to pinpoint out common words and phrases and build from there. Go on Greek only forums and read posts and if you don't understand, throw it in Google Translate and try and decipher the mess of a sentence it spits out. People who watch Anime with subtitles usually end up with a very basic understanding of Japanese just from watching the show and reading the subtitles without any intention of actually learning Japanese.

We spoke English a lot when the teacher wasn't looking in my immersion classes as a kid, so if you put in a serious effort and dedicated like 3-4 hours of watching movies and talking in Greek exclusively on forums every day I'd estimate you could be fluent in a year or 2 (depending on your competency and dedication). That's just my two cents.

Yes, you're right Smile
