I might give it another shot, but it seemed like 4 was lacking somewhere. I just remember it being more entertaining. From choosing between Megaton and Tenpenny Tower, to Anchorage. RE: Fallout 4 - Bish0pQ - 11-30-2016 I liked Fallout: NV a lot, but haven't played Fallout 4 yet. I might buy it though, heard a lot of good things about it. Would you recommend buying it? I almost said New Vegas was my favorite. I just preferred the setting/characters in it, although 3 had a lot more to it. RE: Fallout 4 - Zaiken - 11-30-2016 Pretty sure it's on sale atm on steam. RE: Fallout 4 - Andreas17 - 12-01-2016 Fallout 4 was a mixed bag for me, I haven'tplayed any of the DLC after Far Harbor, mainly because my current PC can't run it. I liked the settlement building, it was very fun to just build communities with food, water and electricity, what wasn't fun was grinding the materials, there should've been a way to make manufactories in your settlements, at least for things like concrete and wood. It also irked me that making unique structures was impossible, every thing you build is a shack, and there's no way to build "suburban" homes or "unique" buildings or props. The RPG elements were a mess, character progression is slow because you can only improve in ONE thing at a time, and the dialogue options were lackluster, your character was voiced and it was just really hard to roleplay as something that wasn't "concerned parent". I think it was "okay-ish", I wouldn't pay 60 dollars for it, hopefully the enxt one will be more like New Vegas RE: Fallout 4 - Aeolian - 12-01-2016 (12-01-2016, 02:22 AM)Andreas17 Wrote: Fallout 4 was a mixed bag for me, I haven'tplayed any of the DLC after Far Harbor, mainly because my current PC can't run it. That's what upset me, that all the things you build are all shack looking, like fucking let me build an empire. My favourite enviroments in Fallout have to be the run-down suburban homes, and it was such a huge disappointment that Jamaica Plains, a big suburb, was reduced to only a run-down house (which you can't fix), a street, and a square of nothing. I would've loved if there was a way to "repair" run-down buildings to restore them to how they SHOULD look (with effects of deterioration of course) RE: Fallout 4 - Aeolian - 12-01-2016 (12-01-2016, 02:28 AM)Andreas17 Wrote:(12-01-2016, 02:24 AM)Aeolian Wrote:(12-01-2016, 02:22 AM)Andreas17 Wrote: Fallout 4 was a mixed bag for me, I haven'tplayed any of the DLC after Far Harbor, mainly because my current PC can't run it. If you could completely create your house from a graphical stand point of view it would be amazing. The game would be a lot more better. |
