Online Dating/LDR is horrible hard to do. There's a lot of trust issues involved and a lot of ways you can hurt your partner. Hell, you may not even get to know the real them, how they feel, etc. (at least not like you'd be able to in person.) Think of a normal relationship, then amplify the amount of trust, loyalty and hell even confidence. That's what it's like.
Though, when you finally get to meet your partner it's the greatest feeling in the world.

I've never done it, it's scary as fuck because most girls screen shot the convo's and make a fool out of a dude on social media. Although I guess dating apps like plenty of fish they don't do that. My buddy has had a lot of look on plenty of fish, just last night we was speaking about it and he said "everything is online now, most people meet online". It's just weird for me because this is so new, the younger generation are brought up with it being ok to date online but when I was growing up it was sad as fuck to use the internet to get girls lol

Well not exactly online dating but I met a girl in an online game (when I think about it right now it sounds really stupid).
We were in a relationship for over 4 years (distance was around 600km), we met at least once a month and at some point we decided to move together. Sadly it didn't hold very long.
In general I'd say online dating can work but it's rough - especially if it is a LDR

I suppose that the internet was made only for new meetings. A great number of social webs are devoted to this. As for me, I use a great number of website, but this one is the best one. On this website, you can see some matches in your area, bro.

Agree with this. It's a good alternative to have. If you're shy - and especially in covid times- it doesn't hurt to at least try and give it a shot.
