It is, it affects the exposure. However, I didn't use said tool in this UB. What I did use was blending options. (Different.) I very rarely use artificial highlights and such, as I prefer to use pure colors.

I like it, it's quite good, but I feel putting text over it would ruin it unless you made more of an empty area to put it in like the middle part

Yea thought so, but without text I don't think there's much to actually do with the userbar, considering the majority of Userbars have text

A lot of userbars don't have text, for several reasons. This was more of a base though, and I had no plans behind. (Being bored is fun.)
