Something more modern would be Gravity, definitely gets a star from me.

Most memorable scene.

The first matrix is great because it's so edgy, the rest are kind of shoot-em-up blockbusters.

I have to admit I am quite fond of American Psycho.
It shows what a persons mental stability can do to them and how real hallucinations can become.
Just a great movie all around.

The Matrix gets more shit than it deserves. The series isn't bad as a whole.

There's so many films mentioned in this thread I've either not heard of or just have never seen. Definitely got more to add to my list! I'm tempted to rewatch the martix series though, it's been years!
Sometimes it can be hard to enjoy a film just as it is, when you compare it to a million other films out there. How good they are is usually relative huh?

I didn't say it was bad, i like all of them however the first one had a concept the other 2 were pretty open about just making fun and trying to follow the same story.
