AGK is a close second, though. Loved that shit. Really hope they remake it into something awesome-er.

HighSchool DxD was an awesome Anime, don't get me wrong
I just liked Steins;Gate better
I liked HDXD for it's *cough*character design*cough* and it was light and funny compared to some other anime's I watch.
I do really like it tho

I'm just sticking to what I know because I don't watch much so it's Ghost in the Shell. Love the setting, the plot and all that seemed solid, the animation is good, and I own it on Laserdisc and DVD. If not GitS, then Grave of the Fireflies ties for 1st in my mind - yeah it's a bit sad but overall it's just a classic and I enjoy watching it.

Nope, not yet. I believe I read like the first 15 pages.
I heard the manga is pretty different from the anime. I think I'd like it either way.

I'm a big fan of Steins;Gate too! And Attack on Titan!
I still love SAO regardless of how mainstream it is.
To the OP: I started watching Bleach as one of my first proper anime shows and got to episode 300ish before I moved on. I'd recommend trying out some of the shows listed in this thread. Watch the first episode of a few of them then let us know if any caught your attention!
Would anybody still be interested in streams if I were to offer one this weekend?
