I have to stay away from Civ games, last time I played Civ V I spent a few days strategizing taking over the world as Poland
For some reason Poland was extremely, like, absurdly powerful in that game

It was fun not being taken over by Russia/Germany/Big Bad Neighbors every 100 years for once :'(

I'll get Civ VI in one of the summer sales, and do a nice long playthrough one week.

There's a "Quick" mode that is 33% faster. A full game took me roughly 2 days, and spanned across 320 turns.

I've already wasted hours on it. Much more than other games, at least.

Won as Spain, via score, under Fascism. Could have won via Scientific or Cultural victory, as well.

Your origin island looks like the UK, how weird.

I found that in this one all of the countries are quite balanced, although some are more specialized.

I literally played Civ 5 for 10 hours yesterday because of this thread. Now I remember why I had to stop playing video games, HAHA.

edit: make that 11 hours... smh
