Skid kiddies like this deserve to be caught. I never really understood why they're so stupid to think that they wouldn't be caught.
Personally, when performing some illegal, I always say to myself that there's a 99% chance I get caught and it's up to me to be part of the 1% that remains.

I've always said (and still stand by this), that you're never "100%" secure when performing malicious acts around the net- namely when navigating via your ISP with an anonymized connection. Even with Tor, proxy chaining or using offshore VPNs with no logs, all It takes Is a leak of one byte of critical and Identifiable Information.

Yes, I definitely agree that It's extremely difficult, In not sometimes just about Impossible to trace with the methodologies I've mentioned above.
That said, there's still an element that may provide a minuscule piece of data which can lead to part or all of one's Identity. I do use the term "may"- nothing Is guaranteed either way.
