Google pretty much spies on everything already, anyway. Not sure they would gain that much from being my ISP, and i'd rather Google than cumcast.

Father came up with the bypass idea, after a few talks with his co-workers I believe.

I eagerly await the day that internet is treated as a utility like electricity, water, etc.
